Sri Lanka records its 15th coronavirus related death

15th death reported due to COVID – 19 in Sri Lanka this morning.

Victim is a 56 year old male receiving treatment at Kuliyapitiya General hospital. He was said to be a heart patient and had been admitted to hospital on 14th October.

Sri Lanka exceeds 7000 total COVID 19 cases with record number of daily detection yesterday.

Sri Lanka recorded the highest ever cases detected within a day yesterday as country recorded 856 COVID19 cases by 2200hrs.

Ministry of health says 7,153 cases reported in Sri Lanka so far but 3,644 cases are recovered fully while 3,495 still being treated hospitals island wide.
