Sri Lanka will lift one month long travel restrictions tomorrow for at least 42 hours period.
Island wide travel restrictions imposed to contain third wave of COVID-19 started on 21 May.
Travel restrictions will be lifted at 4am tomorrow and re imposed at 10pm on 23 May until 4am on 25 May.
24 areas and Grama Seva divisions in 12 districts will be placed under isolation from 4am tomorrow, Monday the 21st.
The National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak said the isolation directives will come into effect in areas in the Colombo, Gampaha, Ampara, Batticaloa, Ratnapura and Kalutara districts.
Isolation orders will also come into force in several parts of the Jaffna, Matale, Puttalam, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts.
Meanwhile, isolation status already in place in 82 areas and Grama Seva divisions in 12 districts will be lifted at 4am tomorrow.
