Another 65 COVID-19 deaths confirmed in Sri Lanka

Another 65 persons have succumbed to the novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours.

The Department of Government Information said Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 related death toll increased to 2,769.

25 females and 40 males were among the victims. 20 of the female victims were over 60 years of age, four were between the ages of 30 and 59 while one was below 30 years.

Meanwhile, of the male victims, 33 were over 60 years, six between 30 and 59 years and one was below 30 years.
